Clarisse Mouren

Originally from Marseille, Clarisse joined DRLC at the end of September.

At 18, Clarisse left Marseille to begin her degree. She moved across France to study, living in various different cities – Nantes, Strasbourg, Bordeaux – starting with a general degree, then moving on to specialise in mechanical engineering. During this time, she had a four-month exchange in Brazil where she learned Portugese and discovered a new culture.

Since graduating, Clarisse has wored at LISI Aerospace, leading management projects to support shoploor teams, improve production KPIs, and reduce costs. In 2025 she moved to Sheffield to be with her partner, where she joined DRLC as a junior mechanical engineer focusing on ventilation systems.

Outside of work, Clarisse has a real creative streak. She enjoys painting, playing the ukelele and graphic design. She often spends her free time creating posters for events around Sheffield.
