Gary Chu

Gary has over 25 years experience in engineering, having worked both in Hong Kong and the UK. He has participated in the stages of design, installation and maintenance on Building Services, especially in HVAC systems.

Carolyne Chapman

Carolyne is our Customer Service Manager. She has over ten years experience working across the NHS, from Primary Care to Emergency Care in GP practices and hospitals. She has also worked within administration and secretarial teams, as well as customer service.

Elen McKeever

Elen is currently working with us to complete her Digital Marketing Apprenticeship. She already has experience in graphic design and illustration. She is also bilingual, being a native speaker of both Spanish and English. Please contact Elen for all marketing enquiries.

Hamish Livingstone

Hamish is a Chartered Chemical Engineer, with a background in pharmaceutical manufacture. Among other interests, he built and maintains the DRLC website.

Melissa Livingstone

Melissa is a registered mental health nurse with varied experience in the healthcare sector. Melissa’s experience ranges from working within the NHS, to working within private health sectors and forensic settings. More recently Melissa has worked with a healthcare leadership role and therefore brings a range of diverse skills to DRLC.

Louise Webb

Louise started her career as a Medical student at Edinburgh University. She went on to gain a MSc in Computer Studies at Sheffield Hallam University and spent 5 years working for Sheffield heavy engineering company Davy McKee where she automated the process of sending engineering drawing details to the factory floor. She also created a search engine for engineering estimate production.

After having a break to have two children Louise returned to work for BT as a Senior Project Manager where she gained an NVQ Level 4 in Project Management and helped Google to get its first servers installed in the UK. She also managed the implementation of Firewalls for FTSE100 financial services companies and was instrumental in rolling out broadband to schools in Yorkshire and Humberside.

Looking for a variety of project management experience Louise set up her own company and won work from a variety of clients including Leeds City Council and the Department of Health. Having been asked to create an online training module in Project Management by Sheffield Hallam University Louise realized she enjoyed teaching and went on to teach all levels of students at Hallam University and the University of Sheffield and also University of Bedfordshire and Anglia Ruskin University.

As Project Director Louise has helped DRLC Ltd to grow over the last 6 years and is currently studying for an MSc in Building Services Engineering at Heriot Watt University.

David Livingstone

David Livingstone is a Chartered Engineer and Managing Director of DRLC Ltd.

David started his engineering career as an apprentice Marine Engineer in the Merchant Navy working his way to achieve qualifications as a Second Engineer and obtaining his steam ticket. He worked on a variety of ocean-going ships including container carriers and oil tankers.
On coming shoreside, he got his first post in the NHS as an Engineer in the Estates Department of the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, one of the largest hospital sites in England.

Looking for a variety of engineering experiences, he moved from NHS Estates Maintenance to delivering engineering projects for Sheffield Hallam University and then on to becoming Head of Estates for another large NHS Trust – Nottingham University Trust, which at the time comprised the City Hospital and Queens Medical Centre. His career inside the NHS peaked with him being named Director of Estates and Facilities.

David launched DRLC Ltd in 2016 with a view to providing Authorising Engineering Services to healthcare providers.
